After a long wait in our limo to be delivered to the
entrance of the NCL side of the terminal,
we were on our way. Check-in was extremely
pain free and quick and in no more than
30 minutes we were in our rooms.
The rooms were bigger than I had imagined
and there was plenty of storage space.
Our cabin stewarts, Nestor and Aya
were on hand to greet us and did an
outstanding job all week and were very
cheerful and friendly.
There are pictures of the cabin
on the next page.
We had lunch at the buffet
and then wandered around to try
to get familiar with the layout of the ship.
We went and set up our internet time,
and coke cards, and made appointments
for the spa so we could get the special
discounts. They had a sailaway special
for ankle and foot massage or
neck and shoulder relaxation massage on that
first day for only $35. All the ladies took
advantage of that and we all loved it!
There was a big party and bbq on
the deck as the sun set over New Orleans
and we stayed up late to watch the muddy
Mississippi River slip by.
