We spent our last 3 days in
Honolulu.
We stayed at the Ilikai, right
by the
Ala Wai Marina, where we used
to keep our boat.

We also had plenty time to
visit with our old friends
David and Michiko, since David's
boat is still docked at Ala
Wai.
We all went to the Pan Pacific
Cultural festival
and block party down in Waikiki.

We hit all our old favorite
spots
like the Dole pineapple plantation
to get pineapple to take home
to everyone

We took a drive around to the
windward side
and gazed at the beautiful
Koolau mountains
and stopped at the Chinaman's
hat.
And of course we drove along
the ocean
on the "Magnum PI" road (Kalnianaole
Hwy).

Of course we took a drive up
to the
North Shore and had our favorite
lunch--a burger at Kua Aina
and
shave ice at Matsumotos!
We also stopped for a swim
at Waimea Bay.
