Well, we're off on our first trip for 2003.
It's my birthday trip and I'm going to my
very first
real, live hockey game.
We watched to Sharks last year into the
playoffs, and
since they are the closest team to us, we
decided
to go to San Jose for not one, but two Sharks
games.
We flew over on Wednesday and after we arrived
we had dinner at Todai Japanese Buffet,
all the sushi you can eat!! It was great!

Before we began our hockey adventure,
we spent the day Thursday at Monterey Bay.
You can click the image below to see pictures
from the Aquarium and our sunset drive along
the coast.
On Friday morning, we went to the Tech Museum.
It
was ok, but really more for kids, Plus there
was a huge school
group there which was quite unruly. But
we did
take a few pictures. We had lunch at Todai
again so I could get my free birthday meal.
I even got a little miniature cake, complete
with
pink flowers.
David make a webpage on the Tech website.
Is that Nabokov?????
NOOO!! IT"S WOODS!!!!
On Saturday we went to the Egyptian Museum.
It wasn't
a very big museum, but very nice.
Lots of wonderful exhibits and we had our
names
printed in hieroglyphics-a cartouche.
Christine and David in hieroglyphics.
Hieroglyphic alphabet
But on to the best part. We spent Friday
and
Saturday night at the Shark tank and I was
not
disappointed. It was great fun and both
games
were really good. Click on the shark
